Homemade Pesto

Quick and easy to make, this homemade Pesto recipes gives a fresh and healthy taste to any salad or pasta dish!





2 TBSP olive oil


1/4 cup chopped

Fresh basil leaves 


1/2 cup chopped spinach


1/4 cup pine nuts


pinch salt


pinch pepper


squeeze of lemon




All the above can be altered according to taste depending on how thick you want the pesto. 





Method 1.


If you have a blender or food processor, just add all the ingredients and blend till everything is broken down



Method 2.


If you don't have a blender, use a Pestle and mortar.

Again, just add everything and get to work!
